Description

The climbing here is on quartzite and differs quite a lot from the different sectors.

Sector canyon is mostly vertical to slightly overhanging. The rock is water polished. This makes the climbing here technical and balancy but still very flowy. It will reward climbers with good technique and a well developed sense of where their centre of gravity is.
It is sloopy and can feel slippery sometimes please clean your shoes of before climbing. The ground is Sandi and the rock is soft so sand on your shoes will accelerate the polish.

In sector Dévers it’s steep powerful climbing on edges. The angle is somewhere around 40 degrees.

Sector Jym is less steep and more technical. Strong fingers will help on some of the small holds.

Overall this is a good crag in the warmer months. Especially sector canyon where the temperature always is low.

Canyon rive droite is often wet, especially in the spring and after longer rainfalls.
