Parking + Trailheads
These are the main places climbers use to access bouldering in Lynn Woods:
Great Woods Road parking lot — this is considered one of the main parking areas. From here you can reach many of the north / central climbing areas.
Penny Brook Road parking lot — good for the south side of the park; useful if you’re aiming for boulders in that region.
Bow Ridge Reservation “Back Door” (Kelly Jeep dealership on Route 1, rear lot) — this lot gives budgeted access to Bow Ridge, Deep Woods, Nature Valley, etc. It’s sort of a secondary or “back” route.
Mary Ellen Drive (public way) — used by climbers wanting a shorter hike into areas like Mt. Spickett and Fenway. Street parking, then walk through wooded field / across small trails. Be considerate of residents.
Quinn Road / Ellen Road — small street parking options; can give quicker access to Weetamoo, Overlook, some Bow Ridge areas. Careful with regulations / posted restrictions.
