This sector is the massive, hard to miss stretch of wall at the entrance of the Daphnon Valley. Two British climbers began bolting here in 2019, with Remy and friends later continuing the work, using material sponsored by the municipality of Leonidio.
Some might argue that Leonidio already has its fair share of vertical, south-facing, plaisir crags, and they wouldn’t be wrong. Much of this wall does have a repetitive feel, but to be fair, among the 60+ lines, there are some real gems worth seeking out.
The dominant style here is vertical climbing on crimps, with some of them quite small. However, there is a bit of variety, with tufas, huecos and broccoli-like features thrown into the mix.
There are also two multi-pitch routes in the sector, but we've chosen not to publish them: one is exposed to constant rockfall danger, and the other, frankly, feels like a waste of bolts.
