No special access issues
🚗 Arrival:
From the A5 motorway, take the Aosta Ovest exit and then keep to the left, following signs for Aosta / St. Pierre. When you reach the roundabout, take the last exit toward Saint-Pierre / Courmayeur.
Continue on the SS26, passing through the villages of Saint-Pierre and Villeneuve until you arrive at the large roundabout in Arvier.
Take the first exit toward Monte Bianco / Courmayeur. Drive for about 600 meters and turn left off the main road just before the tunnel. The Metallica sector is directly above the tunnel. You can park in the first lot you find, or continue for 50 meters and take a sharp hairpin bend to the right to reach a second parking area.
Alternative car park
If your goal is Vampirella Alta (or even Vampirella) you may want to continue driving, back toward the village of Arvier. After a few tens of meters, turn right, following signs for Valgrisenche. After three hairpin bends, you will find a parking lot on the right side of the road.
🚶♂️ Sectors:
Sector Metallica is clearly visible from the car parks. Just follow the paved road that is closed to traffic to reach it very quickly.
Pass sector Metallica to reach sector Legend.
Just after Legend, a path branches off to the left. This trail, which includes a short fixed rope section, will lead you directly to Vampirella. From there, you can continue on to reach Vampirella Alta.
Instead of turning left toward Vampirella, stay on the main paved road and walk for about 120 meters to find a trail above a small wall that leads to the Canyon segreto sector.
