Lawrencefield Quarry lies within the Peak District National Park and, as such, is subject to certain rules and regulations. Wild camping and the lighting of fires in non-designated areas is prohibited.
The parking area for this crag is 'pay and display'.

🚶‍♂️
From the entrance to the Surprise View Pay and Display car park walk 20m along the road towards Hathersage then cross it to reach the start of a well-marked footpath on the other side. Follow this, keeping more or less parallel to the road, for approximately 350m, to reach a wooden stile. Pass over this and continue on a smaller path, first heading directly downhill, then leftwards, to reach the base of the main bay of the quarry (8 minutes).
