Known as ‘Little Cervino’ due to its resemblance to that Alpine colossus, the crag of Las Yeseras has around twenty good routes, where perfect friction and a quiet time are guaranteed. The name comes from its location above some old caves where white plaster was extracted. You can visit these caves if you follow a path leaving the approach path. Las Yeseras has mostly vertical walls and slabs and is mainly recommended for sixth-grade climbers.
Description
History
Though there already were some traditional routes (La Cueva and El Diedro) opened by local climbers from Murcia, the main bolting was by Gildo Conejero and Federico Guillén who equipped most of the routes on the left side of the crag. Later, Javier Penalva ‘Liebre’ and, more recently, Rubén Serrano, completed the bolting work giving the crag its hardest routes.
