Falesia posta in magnifica posizione panoramica sul golfo Borromeo, uno degli angoli più caratteristici del Lago Maggiore.
La vicinanza al lago e l'esposizione a sud la rendono perfetta nei mesi invernali, quando qui, il clima, risulta essere gradevolmente temperato; è comunque possibile e piacevole scalarci anche nelle mezze stagioni.
Divisa in 3 settori, offre un'arrampicata generalmente su placca appoggiata e corti muretti verticali, con presenza anche di diedri e fessure, mai scontata e nel complesso tecnica e non semplice.
I gradi sono bassi, adatta quindi ai principianti ma sconsigliata ai bambini a causa delle basi non enormi e per qualche rischio di caduta pietre (consigliato indossare il caschetto).
La roccia è uno "scisto dei laghi" e asciuga, nel complesso, velocemente.
Accesso, seppur un po' ripido, comodo, veloce e ben segnalato.

Crag located in a magnificent panoramic position overlooking the Borromeo gulf, one of the most characteristic corners of Lake Maggiore.
Its proximity to the lake and southern exposure make it perfect in the winter months, when the climate, here, is pleasantly mild; it's also possible and enjoyable to climb here in the shoulder season.
Divided into 3 sectors, it offers climbing generally on sloping slab and short vertical walls, with the presence of dihedrals and cracks, never straightforward and overall technical and not easy.
The grades are low, making it suitable for beginners, but not recommended for children due to the not-so-large bases and some risk of falling rock (wearing a helmet is recommended).
The rock is a "lake schist" and dries quickly overall.
Access is, although a bit steep, comfortable, fast, and well-signposted.

La scoperta di questo sito risale agli anni '90, da parte di Primo Preatoni di Cavandone che chiodò un paio di vie nell'attuale settore "Paradiso", ma in breve la natura si riappropriò del luogo.
Bisognerà aspettare quasi vent'anni affinchè qualcuno torni a interessarsene: è infatti intorno al 2020 che Andrea Candelù lo indica a Felice Spampanato e i due si mettono all'opera iniziando i lavori di pulizia, chiodatura e ampliamento.
Felice Spampanato poi, negli anni, prosegue col lavoro, grazie anche all'aiuto di vari amici, creando gli altri due settori, "Purgatorio" e "Inferno", e sistemando sempre al meglio le basi e l'accesso.
Entusiasta della sua creazione, continua nell' opera di valorizzazione con particolare attenzione anche ai dettagli, come per esempio le pietre dipinte coi nomi alla partenza dei tiri e le bacheche presenti in falesia, oltre che nella ricerca, per quanto possibile, di qualche linea nuova da chiodare.
Ogni tanto vengono anche organizzati caratteristici piccoli raduni per mangiare e bere qualcosa insieme e raccogliere fondi per il mantenimento della falesia.

The discovery of this site dates back to the 90s, by Primo Preatoni from Cavandone, who bolted a couple of routes in the current "Paradiso" sector, but soon nature reclaimed the place.
It'll take almost twenty years for someone to take an interest again: it's around 2020 that Andrea Candelù points it out to Felice Spampanato, and the two start working on cleaning, bolting and expanding the site.
Felice Spampanato then continued the work over the years, thanks also to the help of various friends, creating the other two sectors, "Purgatorio" and "Inferno", and always improving the bases and access.
Enthusiastic about his creation, he continues to enhance it with attention to detail, like the painted stones with route names at the start of the pitches and the notice boards placed at the crag, as well as searching for new lines to bolt.
Occasionally, small gatherings are organized to eat and drink together and raise funds for the crag's maintenance
