🇬🇧
🚶🏻CHECK the GPS trails on the MAP.
Access to the mainland rock walls is relatively easy to explain. Once you arrive at Koh Yao Noi by boat, you can rent a scooter directly at the pier. Then, head towards the "Paradise Resort" and follow the initially paved road, which eventually turns into a dirt road. Make sure to drive cautiously to avoid accidents. If you feel uncertain about the road, you can opt for a taxi that will take you directly to the "Paradise Resort."
Once you reach the final parking area near the resort's reception, park your scooter and take the trail that leads directly into the jungle with signs indicating "Big Tree." After a 10-15 minute walk, you'll come to a section of the trail with cement markers on the right. Near the first marker, the path descends steeply for the descent (note that the trail was cleared in November 2023 by the authors of this guide). The trail will lead you to the "Bee Wall" following a rough path through the jungle. Be sure to use the GPS on the 27crags map to navigate effectively.
Once you reach the "Bee Wall," on the left, you'll find the walls of "Dump Wall" and "Ao Pui Tower." If you continue along the right side of the "Bee Wall," you'll find another trail that leads to the "Breakfast Wall." Following the trail, you'll encounter a few ascents and descents before reaching the junction that leads to "The Mitt." By following the uphill trail, you'll reach a plateau where, on the right, a short path leads to the base of "The Mitt."
If, instead, you continue straight at the junction, you'll descend to the beach. At the end of the bay, on the left, you'll find a black rope that allows you to climb slightly to reach another plateau. Following the clear trail, you'll first arrive at "HD Wall." Continuing and overcoming a few ascents and descents with the help of two ladder-like structures, you'll reach "Big Tree."
Keep in mind that both "Big Tree" and "HD Wall" can also be reached by boat, saving you the scooter ride and jungle hike, although the latter offers a unique experience for nature and adventure enthusiasts.
The cliffs in the small islands around are all accessible by boat, with the exception of "Koh Nok," which can also be reached by kayak.
