No special access issues
Kättilhult is a short drive from Påryd, about 6 kilometers (9 minutes). From the center of Påryd drive south towards Söderåkra. After 5.2 kilometers you turn right to a small gravel road. Drive on this road for another 650 meters to a fork where you can park 🅿️ without blocking access for other vehicles.
From Kalmar Kättilhult is about 26 minutes drive. Drive E22 south west towards Malmö/Karlskrona and after ~21 km take the exit towards Voxtorp/Olsbo.Take right in the next intersection and follow Olsbovägen for 2 kilometers where there is a right turn towards Ålebo. Drive 5.7 kilometers to the next intersection where you turn right towards Påryd. After 550 meters turn left to the small gravel road mentioned above.
🚶 From the parking you continue walking west along the road for 120 meters (see approach path on map 🗺️) and then the boulder is located 20 meters south of the road, i.e. left hand side.
To prevent access issues please:
• Follow "Allemansrätten".
• Be very careful to not hurt tree plants or other sensitive vegetation.
• Drive carefully and park where you don't block access for other vehicles.
• Do not litter.
• Keep a low profile.
• Remove tick marks and excessive chalk on holds.
• Be observant of any hunting in the area. If there is hunting going on then do not climb. Avoid the area during the first week(s) of elk hunting season which starts October 8.
