Karaağaç is a village connected to the
Karabük city center. The climbing area is
located along the road to Keltepe Ski Center,
and direct vehicle access to the crags is
available via asphalt.
The rock is limestone, offering solid friction
and reliable holds. The walls feature a mix of
slab, vertical, and slightly overhanging
sections, providing suitable route options for
both beginners and experienced climbers.
Most sectors are surrounded by forest. In
particular, the Dereboyu sector remains in
shade throughout the day due to both rock
and tree cover, allowing comfortable climbing
even during the summer months.
Karaağaç is a quiet and valuable outdoor
space. Sustaining climbing here depends on
our collective attitude.
