No special access issues
35km(30min) from Kuusamo. Take E63/5 towards north, after 9km turn left onto Rovaniementie/route 81 towards Oivanki, after 21km turn right onto Jäkäläniementie, after 4km turn right onto Mäntyniementie, then after 1km parking should be on your right. You should be able to see the main rock on your left about 100 before parking. Don`t block the road, there`s plenty of space in the parking area. Please make sure that you park in a way that that people arriving before or after you can leave or park. And as usual do not litter. If you see any trash take it with you.
Approach is very easy. If you walk back a bit on the road You can follow a forest machine path/trail to get close to the first rock. Or continue to find the rocks further on the open area. There`s more than one path/trail but it`s no biggie if you take the wrong one as you can see around you very well. All the boulders are in the clear-cut area or near the edge of it.
