At least Google maps leads you to wrong place so might be better to Follow these instructions. From Kuusamo take E63/5 towards Kemijärvi. After 31km turn left to Alakitkantie. After 12km turn left to Tolvantie 9471 then after 14km turn right to a small road that does not seem to have a name in Google maps😅 There’s a small sign that says 163. If you go over Riisijoki you went too far. It’s the second road on the right after Riisitunturintie. The small road has a y-split after 20m, take right to go uphill on the road that looks worse than the other one. The road is a bit bumpy and uneven, but is drivable with a normal car. After roughly 550m you reach the first ”turn point” that serves as the 1st parking spot. Then after another 300m you reach the 2nd parking spot which is also a ”turn point”.
From the 2nd parking spot there’s a old forest machine trail going roughly towards northwest. It should be on your right hand side when you arrive. Follow it to go northwest for roughly 400m to reach a tiny clearing-like area. Turn right onto a very faint Forest machine trail to go directly north over a tiny hill to reach Emoalus boulder in 150m.
