Clemens Kurth
Ith is a limestone area in Lower Saxony (Germany). It is quite close to Hanover. The area has some really nice crags whereof Lüerdissen and Holzen are the most frequented. The rock is limestone of mostly really good quality. You have pretty much all kind of climbing you can find in limestone areas. I love the area because it has so many nice routes, the forest around is beautiful and of course because these rocks where the first Iclimbed. Just go there and visit. Possibilties to camp are in Lüerdissen just 5 min walk from the rocks on a camping ground of the German Alpine Club. More info in German and also topos can be found under www.kletternimnorden.de
