close to the motorway A9 between Nürnberg and Bayreuth you can reach this crag fast. Leave towards Hormersdorf, drive towards Illafeld and leave the village southwwards towards Hormersdorf. About 250 meters after the village leave your car at the country road.

Illafels:
take the dirt road to your left east wards. After 250 meters turn right into the first possibility into the forest. Follow theat trail for 120 meters towards the cave.
Geierstein:
take the dirt road to your left east wards. Follow that road straight ahead keeping slightly left for 700 meters. You reach a forest road leading along the hill side, turn left and walk for 50 meters. Take the hiking trail to your right and follow that for 120 meters to the crag.
