No special access issues
"Climbing here is a privilege, not a right."
Hin Changsi is the first officially sanctioned climbing area within a Thai national park, representing a groundbreaking achievement in climbing access. Khon Kaen Climbing Club (KKCC) developed this area through an official partnership with the National Park Office, establishing Thailand's first permanent climbing access agreement within a protected area.
This access is precious and fragile. KKCC has worked tirelessly to build trust and maintain positive relationships with park authorities. Every climber's actions directly impact our continued access. Please help preserve this opportunity for future generations by following all guidelines below.

- Stay on established trails and climb in designated areas only
- No camping or night climbing
- Exercise extreme caution with fire/smoking in a forest environment
Environmental Stewardship
- Minimize chalk use - choose colors that blend with the rock
- Pack out all trash, including tape, food waste, and cigarette butts
- Use proper restroom facilities (available up the road near the coffee shop at the viewpoint, 2 km uphill from the bouldering area) rather than going in the woods
- Stay on trails to prevent erosion and vegetation damage
- Respect wildlife - avoid climbing during nesting seasons when posted
Best Practices for Sustainability
- Inspect holds carefully before climbing - report loose rock
- Know your limits, especially on highball problems
- Check weather conditions - avoid climbing on wet rock
- Educate others about proper climbing ethics
- Support KKCC's conservation efforts by following all guidelines
