From Boise, head north on Highway 55 towards McCall. at mile 86.5 there is a large pullout on the right side (river side) of the road. Park at the furthest upriver end of the parking area and cross the highway. Make sure to leash your dog, the speed limit is 55mph.

Cross the small roadside ditch and head up a trail through the brush following steep terrain that trends gently to the northeast until you reach the base of the talus field. navigate through the bottom of the talus until you reach the left side where you will find the beginning of the uphill trail. Follow this trail as it winds up the hill at the edge of the talus field. The first 2 boulders you will pass are right on the trail. 2 slabs that are great warm ups or for someone who is looking for a mellow grade. Follow the trail up the hill until you reach 2 large boulders at the top of the talus field. The Tiger King boulder and Power Struggle boulder. From here, follow the trail into the woods to access the other boulders. Using the map is helpful as the trails change yearly from fallen trees and erosion.
