❄️🌼🌞🍂
Another crag for almost the whole year. "Dreistaffelfels" is recommended for summer time. "Hetzendorfer Wand" on the other hand is good for sunny winter day, as long as it hasn't rained in a few days.
💧
Only rain proof routes you can find on the left side of "Hetzendorfer Wand". Also aet the right part you can find dry rock in gentle rain. This section dries quite fast. All other sections takes ages to dry.
💪⚙️
At "Dreistaffelfels" vertical climbing on classical lines like dihedrals, cracks or buttresses in lower grades are predominantly. Protection may be pimped with some mobile gear.
"Hetzendorfer Wand" offers similar climbing but with better protection. There are a few harder routes as well.
👶
Both sectors are perfect with kids.
🍽🍻🛌🏊🎸
In "Betzenstein" you can get good diner in "Gasthof Herbst". For bigger shopping go to "Plech", next to the motorway there are a few shopping facilities.
On rainy days go to Rockstore in "Betzenstein" to restock your climbing equipment. They have an unique gym as well. Must go.
