The Crag gets sun before noon. Climbing the hard routes would be prefered at late afternoon in spring or autumn.

After short rain the crag dries quite fast as long as there is a little wind going. After long rain periods the pockets can push moist.

At Sector Jungfernriss you get powerful endurance climbing on small pockets in higher grades. Gockerlwand offers a few crimpy climbs from the 90s and short roof boulder routes in the left wall. Not for beginner.

Both sectors are weather suitable for little kids nor accessible by buggy.

Waischenfeld up North is the closest town where you find everything you need. Gamping ground, Breweries, supermarket, swimming pool etc.
