History
I have to admit most of the cliffs around Haugland are not brilliant but this one is. Lovely rock to look at and climb on and ALWAYS DRY. I’ve been there in extreme rain and not a drop touches it. Massive potential for some longer routes but not easy to bolt them since abseiling in from the top is out of the question . There are some great cabins to rent here if you want to make it a weekend Hellebustfossen.
I started to develop the crag after I got diagnosed with Parkinson's. The idea was that having some difficult projects to work on would keep the illness in check. It worked to some extent but I never managed the superb 8a and 8b projects.
