North Boulder 1 / 5
  • Up the wall right of the arete via undercut slopers and tiny crimps, a high foot Rockover at the top is good.
  • Straight up from the end of the ledge via a good sloper for the left hand. Holds on top are good when you find your feet on the face.
  • From the right edge of the ledge via undercuts to the sloping often scrittly top.
  • Between Sunset Wall and Torque Wrench; Climb the corner of the block via the break, small flake and through the main flake above.
  • Steeper than it looks slopers and pinches bring about a tricky top.

  • Steeper than it looks slopers and pinches bring about a tricky top.
  • Technical and powerful through shallow finger pockets, sidepull and pinches.
  • AKA West Face Route - Up the wonderful groove line between Torque Wrench and Finger Flow.
  • Edges and dynamic apparently...
  • From the break go to the pocket above with your left hand then drift rightward above the right hand pocket to finish.
  • Direct finish to Papillon through the two pockets and layback crack.
  • Up the worn slots to the boulder's nose - holds are wearing away and no doubt making the climb and grade harder...
  • Eliminate: Rightward trending finish from the same start as Back Breaker keeping to the right of the obvious slot on Back Breaker.

  • Eliminate: Rightward trending finish from the same start as Back Breaker keeping to the right of the obvious slot on Back Breaker.
  • Direct up the blunt nose on slopers and side-pulls. A Heel-toe move is recommended.
  • The wall to the right of the arete hard mantel.
  • From the breaks/pockets in the centre of the wall; trend slightly leftward to a good hold at the top. Tricky mantel above.
  • The easiest way up and down. Nicest if you layback the vertical crack above.
  • Lay off the low left hand crimp and lurch up to the break, undercut the slight overhang and trend rightwards at the top. Top mantel is very difficult.
  • The arete climbed on its RHS. Tricky mantel and hard to spot due to its location.

  • The arete climbed on its RHS. Tricky mantel and hard to spot due to its location.
  • Up the wall via sidepulls to the obvious large flat hold just before the top, same hard-mantel top...
  • The short wall left of the arete and right of Red River. The familiar tricky mantel top.
  • The arete climbed on its left is quite dynamic.
