Description

Hammertor sits on the opposite hill from the Schlachthof and The First crags. Easily accessible from the main parking, this sector offers around 100 problems across the full grade spectrum. With its east-facing aspect, the area stays in the shade for a good part of the day, making it a solid option even during hot sunny weather. Climbing is spread out along a band of low walls running along the ridge, as well as on blocs scattered below it. Thanks to the recent clearing of diseased spruce trees, the boulders are now more exposed to air and dry out much faster than they used to. Most problems have flat landings, adding to the overall chill vibes of the sector.
