Transiberiana

An adventurous one. The anchor is really far to the left. First I thought I didn't bring enough quickdraws and I though I was bailing out of an unrelated anchor, which turned out to be the right one after all. But I didn't know that so I climbed again and then tried to go up to the higher anchor and ended up soloing the second pitch of the 6a trad route (Variante in topo) but couldn't reach the anchor from the crack so had to climb down again. Then I spent about 10min shouting down to my climbing partner to check where the route goes but turned out he didn't have the picture so no luck. Then I tried climbing up the second pitch of the 7b (Orient express) thinking this is much harder than 6b. But no luck going up that way so bailed out of the same anchor as before, which was actually the correct anchor for this route. So I did onsight it without knowing that I had done so until I came down from the second climb and checked the topo. Love this sport.
