No special access issues
It is easy to get to the big wall of Gorge of the Dead. Park at the parking lot between Zakros and Kato Zakros, at the point from which a path to the side branch of the canyon starts. It takes 15 minutes to get to the bottom of the canyon from this entrance. When you reach the bottom of the canyon, turn left and then go about 200m. You should see red dots sprayed on the rocks. Turn left, cross small creek ( often dry in summer) and follow the red dots. You can also go further along the main path for another 100 meters until you see a big wall on the left side. That is our crag. There are more paths from the creek under the crag. However, some paths are pretty steep and can be dangerous for less experienced climbers or tourists.
