No special access issues

Keep in mind that the main parking area is a private area, and there are parking fees.
We do not advise climbing in sector Mare, due to heavily corroded bolts, beware!

If you are interested in bolting new routes, contact the local climbing community. This is a good pratice in general, but in this area specifically it is very important to be well informed about what materials should be used to avoid unnecessarily quick corrosion.

For the approaches, see the sector markers on the map.

Sector Mare is right on the beach. When coming down from the road you can find it on the far end of the beach.

To reach the other sectors walk in to the canyon along the main trail. The routes are found on both sides of the canyon and the walls are visible from the trail and can be compared with the topo pictures.

Hi Artur, thanks for checking. The approach to Garten Eden can indeed be a bit confusing. The most direct way to the rock is off limits and should be avoided, but the sector is open as far as I’m aware.

To reach Garten Eden: Approaching through the campground property is not allowed! Instead, walk in to the canyon, past the campsite. After the fenced off area of the campsite, there will be small trails going left towards the Pfeiler and Ladi sector. Follow these trails to the base of Pfeiler and Ladi, and from there, walk along the wall back towards the beach and the Garten Eden sector.
There is a few meters between the wall and the fence making it so you can reach the climbing.
It could be that the last bit is a bit overgrown and hard to find because those routes don’t see a lot of traffic.
