No special access issues

Climbers may park at the Lewis Property parking lot on Foxville Road (Rt 77) and follow the Gateway Trail for approximately 1 mile to the main crag. The parking lot is right by the main Catoctin Mountain Park sign and just before the Crow's Nest campground. This approach will bring you to the upper reaches of the outcroppings, with opportunities to traverse along the upper slope to higher problems and those deeper in the woods. Bushwhack where the trail becomes a steep downhill.

An alternate approach is slightly longer. Park at the Park Headquarters and hike east along the creek. You'll pass some of the lowest faces on this route, and the main body of rock will be right where the path turns sharply uphill.

Another option is to park along route 77/Foxville road. There are several 1-2 car parking spots along the road right by the crag (which is visible from the road). Park and hop over Hunting Creek to access the climbing area.
