No special access issues
To reach the Gatekeeper crag, take the toll road heading towards Kölnbreinsperre. Pay the toll at the tollgate (or arrive before 7 am to avoid the fee) and drive approximately 12 km until you spot the parking area on the left side. The road is winding and at times quite narrow—occasionally too narrow for two lanes—hence it's regulated by traffic lights with potential waiting times of up to 20 minutes. The parking area, which provides a view of the wall, is clearly marked on Google Maps as "Parkplatz Klettergarten Gatekeeper."
Keep in mind that the road is closed from the end of October until the beginning of May due to winter conditions. Additionally, there's a possibility that the road might open later or close earlier based on weather conditions. It's recommended to make a phone call to confirm the road status and ensure it's open before planning your visit.
