Gärdesgårdarna

Gärdesgårdarna is a small area with two main boulders which together with the side boulders have some really nice problems in the grades 6A to 7B.

The boulders are granite and mostly crimps mixed with slopers. Height of the main boulders are around ~4-5m and the side boulders are lower, all boulders are easy to get down from. The landings are good, though an extra crashpad is recommended for some problems. The best season is usually March to May.

Though close to the road often driven to reach Runtorp the area wasn't really investigated until 2018/2019. "Allt och lite till" were mainly developed in 2019 and later in 2022 the south-eastern boulders around Turtle were climbed.
