No special access issues
As of now (June 2020) this area is still open to the public. There are plans for housing development in the area, but it hasn't been decided yet.
From Svolvær, take the E10 westwards, towards Kabelvåg. About 100 m after the recycling station, just by a bus stop on the top of the hill, there’s a small pullout on the left (south) side that leads you out on the cycleway. Park right here, on the edge of the cycleway, making sure you’re not in the way. If you’re heading to Finnvika (Morstadbaugen and so on) the path starts here and goes down into a small valley in the forest. If you’re heading to Tjeldbergvika (Moby Dick and so on), walk along the cycleway westwards for 400 m and take left on a small road leading you down to an industrial lot (where they keep fish farming equipment) from where the boulders will be clearly visible. If the parking spot mentioned above is full of cars, you can also park outside the recycling station, just make sure you leave the entrance clear.
