Located in the foothills of the Sierra del Maigmó, this small but fanatic crag offers almost thirty routes located on both sides of a short and narrow canyon where a surprising variety of climbing styles coexist. The average height of its routes does not reach 20 meters and both in its technical vertical walls and in its explosive overhangs, you will always find very demanding routes. It should be noted that, although its footpath is one of the most uncomfortable and unstable in the entire province, it has several gems that are authentic references within the region of L’Alacantí.
Description
History
The history of this crag begins at Christmas of 1997 when on Good Christmas Day, fate wanted José M. Anaya, Ernesto Navarro, Pau Segura, Raúl and Javier Franco and Alberto Hinarejos “Beto” to return from climbing through the small CV-827 road, the place from where the discovery of these walls took place. From this point, and during the final years of the 90s, the final development of the area in which the vast majority of existing lines would arise would take place.
