El paraíso is one of the newer crags in Alcaniz. Development only began at the start of 2025. It is beautifully situated along the river and is one of the greenest environments in the outback of Alcaniz, which gives the sector its name.
🧗♂ The sector is located along the river and can be reached from the parking via a good path. The climbing is varied and offers slabs, baordstyle problems, sloper edges, roofs and pockets - everything a boulderer's heart desires.
📡 Download the topo before you go! There is almost no reception in this sector.
🪨 The rock is typical for Alcaniz sandstone in all qualities and colors. The quality depends on the location and orientation of the boulder.

🏹 Hunting:
As the crag is on public land, hunting is normally prohibited here. Should hunters nevertheless use the good path through the area, please respect them.
❗️IMPORTANT NOTICE❗️
Typical for Alcaniz, the sandstone is very brittle after rain, even if it looks dry on the surface, this is very often still wet inside and therefore tends to break very quickly! Shady boulders dry especially slow, sometimes they are still wet after several days.
Please do NOT climb there after rain!

El paraíso es una de las peñas más nuevas de Alcañiz. Su desarrollo no comenzó hasta principios de 2025. Está muy bien situado a lo largo del río y es uno de los entornos más verdes del interior de Alcañiz, lo que da nombre al sector.
🧗♂ El sector está situado a lo largo del río y se puede llegar desde el aparcamiento a través de un buen camino. La escalada es variada y ofrece placas, problemas baordstyle, aristas sloper, techos y troneras, todo lo que el corazón de un boulder desea.
Descárgate la topo antes de ir. Casi no hay acogida en este sector.
🪨 La roca es típica de la arenisca de Alcañiz en todas las calidades y colores. La calidad depende de la ubicación y orientación del canto rodado.

Como la peña está en terreno público, la caza está normalmente prohibida aquí. Si a pesar de ello los cazadores utilizaran el buen camino que hay por la zona, por favor, respetadlos.

Típico de Alcañiz, la arenisca es muy quebradiza después de la lluvia, incluso si parece seca en la superficie, muy a menudo está todavía húmeda en el interior y por lo tanto tiende a romperse muy rápidamente. Los peñascos sombreados se secan con especial lentitud, a veces siguen húmedos después de varios días.
Por favor, ¡NO escale allí después de llover!
