No special access issues

Edgar’s Field is a public park located in the Handbridge area of Chester, just south of the River Dee. The easiest access is via the Old Dee Bridge—cross over from the city centre and turn right into the park entrance shortly after the bridge.

The boulders are located near the centre of the park, close to the Minerva shrine. Follow the main path through the park until you see the sandstone mound on your left. The Wave Buttress runs alongside the path, and Edgar’s Buttress faces the gate.

There is limited free street parking is available in the surrounding residential streets, particularly along Handbridge and Eaton Road. Please be respectful of local residents.
Edgar’s Field is also a short walk from Chester city centre which is easily reachable by foot or bus from Chester train station.

This is a public and historical space—please respect other park users, keep noise to a minimum, and avoid climbing on or near the Minerva shrine. Brush off chalk and keep the area tidy.
