A somewhat hidden crag tucked away in the hillsides of Drouseia village and surrounded by some of the island’s best bouldering. This crag doesn’t get the same traffic as Gerakopetra, but it’s well worth a visit with a selection of unique, engaging lines. Enjoy beautiful views over Polis Bay and Akamas.
For newer climbers progressing through the grades, the crag at Drouseia is an excellent place to move from the slabs of Dhiarizos and Gerakopetra onto some well-bolted climbs where you can practise your skills and technique on steeper ground with good holds.
Conditions
The crag at Drouseia is northwest- and westfacing. As the rock is sandstone, it can be fragile when wet, therefore climbing is not recommended until the rock is fully dry after rain. This may take three to four days after heavy rains in the winter.
