Dimore Degli Dei (Val Di Mello)

🏞️ Dimore degli dei is a small trad crag, immersed in the calm woods of Val di Mello. It is located next to the start of the famous multipitch Il Risveglio di Kundalini, that is one of the classics of the valley.

🅿️ Park at the val di mello parking spot, then follow the path past Gatto Rosso until you go past Il Bidet della Contessa. Follow a trail to your left that goes up into the woods, just before reaching Cascina Piana. 40 mins from Gatto Rosso approximately.

🌸🍂 South facing wall. Midseasons are the best time to climb. It hardly gets any sun in the winter, and it might be too hot during the summer.

🏞️Dimore degli dei è una piccola falesia prevalentemente trad, immersa nella tranquillità della val di mello. La falesia si trova presso l'attacco della via Il Risveglio di Kundalini, che è una delle classiche più famose della valle.

🅿️ Parcheggiare al parcheggio della Val di Mello, e prendere la strada oltre al Gatto Rosso. Oltrepassare il Bidet della contessa e reperire una traccia sulla sinistra che porta fino alla base della parete, appena prima di incontrare le baite di Cascina Piana. Circa 40 min dalla macchina.

🌸🍂 Esposizione sud. Ideale durante le mezze stagioni, in inverno prende poco sole alla base e d'estate potrebbe essere troppo calda.

Dimore degli Dei is an important historical place for the development of the climbing scene in the valley. The structure is characterized by a huge stone arch with a huge roof. Il Risveglio di Kundalini, that was opened by Ivan Guerini and Mario Villa in 1976 and dedicated to the oriental gods, is one of the most repeated climbs of the valley. The climb goes up until the huge roof, before it traverses right on some easier terrain. There are some newer climbs on the structure, such as Cochise and Big Bamboo. For the most experienced climber it might be worth giving La Gallina dalle ovaie d'oro a try, that is the most recent climb on the structure.

Dimore degli dei è un luogo di importanza storica per lo sviluppo dell'arrampicata in valle. La struttura è caratterizzata da un imponente tetto ad arco. Il Risveglio di Kundalini, aperta da Ivan Guerini e Mario Villa nel 1976 e dedicata al Dio orientale della vitalità onirica, è una delle vie più ripetute della valle. La via raggiunge il grande tetto ad arco, per poi traversare a destra su terreno più facile. Ci sono anche alcune vie più recenti, come Cochise e Big Bamboo. Per i climber piu esperti vale la pena di provare La Gallina dalle ovaie d'oro, che è la via più recente aperta sulla struttura.
