🚗 Arrival:
Coming from Thiene, follow the directions towards Zugliano, reach it and then head to Lugo di Vicenza. Reach Lugo di Vicenza and drive North direction to reach the square in the front of the municipality. Here follow the direction towards Lusiana.
Just drive along the main road for 4.2 km, getting to the church of Valle di Sopra.
If your goal is to climb on the extreme left of the Covolo rocky belt, you can park here.
But the best car park is a few km ahead. Continue driving for 1.1 km, then take the narrow road starting on the left side of the road, having a sign indicating the Parco del Sojo. Reach the first houses of the small village of Covolo, then turn left into the cemetery car park and stop here.
🚶♂️Sectors:
• Extreme left sectors.
From the church of Valle di Sopra, come back on the main road and head towards the football pitch / play ground. Take the path on its side. Follow this path for 140 meters, then at the junction go right along the uphill path. At the next junction (about 100 meters) keep the right on the flat trail to reach in a while the left part of the crag.
• Other sectors (main car park)
The approach from here is short and easy. Come back to the main road, go left and walk along the hairpin bend. After 60 meters, take the evident trail going backwards through the yards. Walk for about 300 meters, then leave this road by going right towards the first routes of the crag.
