To reach the village of Civitella del Tronto, follow the SS81. Once you reach a small roundabout at the end of Via Pertini, don’t head up toward Porta Napoli. Instead, take the tree-lined road to the right. In just a couple of minutes, this leads you beneath the massive walls of the Bourbon Fortress – and right to the base of the crag, which is just off the road.
To access the Piazzetta delle Streghe sector, look for a small path branching left just after the first routes of the Settore Storico (like Father and Son). Follow this trail up a few small steps and past a short fixed rope to reach the sector.
