This sector offers long, sustained technical climbs to test your endurance levels in a remote and peaceful location. Grades range from 6b+ to 7c with a high concentration of excellent 7b lines. This is a truly unique climbing spot on the island, deep in a canyon that feels like nowhere else in Cyprus.
Conditions
Perfect for autumn and spring climbing when you can climb in the sun and the shade. If you’re chasing shade, go early for the right side of the canyon as it gets the sun in the midafternoon. At summer solstice, the belayer is in the sun around 1:30 p.m. on the right side of the canyon. The left side gets the shade around 1:30 p.m.
