Description

Bus de Vela is probably one of the best crag close to the city of Trento having an high concentration of super hard routes. The over 40 routes are well equipped and can be climbed also when it is raining. The wall is strongly overhanging, composed of a beautiful limestone with pockets, tufas and many slopers.
The routes have generally bouldery sections with rests in between and need a good amount of endurance. The easiest route is 6c but most of the difficulties range from 8a to 8c. The projects can be tried freely.
The crag base is super comfortable.

Bus de Vela is not for everyone, but if you climb well on eighth grade routes is the perfect place for you! The lines are beautiful and the area is very suggestive.

History

Bus the Vela was discovered and mainly equipped by Valerio Ballardini. Other climbers took part in the work: Gabriele Moroni, Rolando Larcher, Lino Celva, Giovanni Cozzio, Massimo Faletti and Nicola De Angelis.
