No special access issues
Drive the E10 westwards towards Å and Reine. Drive across the bridges of the Reine area and take a left by Reinehalsen, towards ”downtown” Reine. After 600 m take a left and drive down to the harbour. Finding a parking spot can be a bit tricky during high season, so you are well advised to arrive in good time, both to make sure you find a parking spot and also to make sure you get a seat on the ferry across the fjord to Bunes. Reservations are not possible unless you are a big group.
During the high season the ferry runs a few times a day (usually once
or twice in the morning, once in the afternoon plus late Friday evening). Make sure you remember what time the return ride is, so you don’t get stranded at Bunes (there are worse places to get stranded at though).
