Accessinfo:
Range West being a live firing range, it is mandatory to attend an annual MoD briefing. The briefings are open to all climbers and held at the Castlemartin Army Camp. The briefings last for about 40 minutes, are valid for the year. and are held throughout the spring and summer months, ususally on a Saturday morning or Thursday evening.

Approach:
From Gupton Gate bear right just before the gated fence prior to reaching the tarmac road leading to Linney Head. Allow 50 minutes on foot. From Stack Rocks follow the landrover track, then the tarmac road past Linney Head until close to the gated fence. Go through the gate and bear left. Allow 60 minutes on foot or 25 minutes on a bike.
