Description

This is a nice, small cliff which lies just east of Mandal. The easiest routes have for the most slab climbing, while the steeper and harder climbing are mostly on crimps. All routes are bolted, and are between 10 and 15 metres long. The wall lies towards the south, so it can become warm in the summer. In addition there will be some mosquitoes and midges on calm days during summer. This makes the climbing best during spring and autumn.

History

It was discovered in 2006 when the owner cut down some of the wood just beneath. The development has been a bit on and off, but the cliff became quite finished when the Norwegian Climbing Association bolted some routes on the right side during the autumn 2009 as part of the development of the club.
