Nestled in the peaceful heart of a forest at 1245 meters above sea level, this small crag is a hidden gem for climbers seeking solitude and quality rock. With 12 routes ranging in difficulty from 5b to 7c+/8a, it offers a compact but varied climbing experience. The climbs are relatively short—between 12 and 18 meters—but never dull, making it an ideal spot for a half-day session or a focused climb on technical terrain.
The limestone here is truly impressive: highly featured, solid, and reminiscent of the rock at the well-known Piatta crag. While the lines may be short, some are quite bouldery and require power, precision, and good problem-solving.
Facing south, the cliff enjoys a unique microclimate. In summer, the forest canopy provides welcome shade, making climbing comfortable even on warm days. In winter, the absence of leaves allows the sun to warm the wall, making it climbable on bright, sunny days. As a result, the crag is suitable for climbing almost year-round—spring, summer, autumn, and even in winter when the weather is fair.
One of its most appealing features is the peaceful atmosphere. With no nearby roads or crowds, the only sounds are rustling leaves and the occasional bird—pure nature and climbing serenity.
The routes were recently bolted (2023-2024) with stainless steel 10 mm bolts, and the anchors are equipped with chains and lowering rings, ensuring solid and safe protection throughout.

Immersa nella quiete di un bosco a 1245 metri di altitudine, questa piccola falesia è un luogo ideale per chi ama arrampicare lontano dalla folla, in un ambiente raccolto e naturale. Le sue 12 vie, con difficoltà che spaziano dal 5b fino al 7c+/8a, offrono una varietà interessante di movimenti, pur mantenendosi su lunghezze contenute — tra i 12 e i 18 metri. È una falesia perfetta per mezza giornata di scalata intensa e tecnica, oppure per sessioni più tranquille all’insegna della qualità.
Il calcare è sorprendentemente bello: molto lavorato, solido e con forme che ricordano quelle della celebre falesia della Piatta. Le linee, pur essendo corte, sono tutt'altro che banali: alcune presentano passaggi boulderosi che richiedono precisione, forza e intuito.
L'esposizione a sud, unita alla copertura fogliare del bosco, crea un microclima davvero favorevole: in estate le fronde proteggono dal sole permettendo una piacevole ombra, mentre in inverno – quando gli alberi si spogliano – il sole riesce a scaldare le pareti rendendo possibile arrampicare anche nelle giornate più fredde ma serene. Per questo motivo, la falesia è fruibile in tutte le stagioni, fatta eccezione per i giorni particolarmente umidi o nevosi.
Il silenzio che avvolge la zona è uno dei suoi punti forti: niente strade, niente rumori – solo natura, roccia e il fruscio delle foglie. Un vero angolo di pace.
La chiodatura è stata recentemente rinnovata (2023-2024), con fix inox da 10 mm e soste solide costituite da catena con anello di calata: sicurezza e qualità garantite.
