Beautiful bouldering on both freestanding boulders and cliffs, mostly on granite. Slab, vertical and overhang - grades from 2A to 7C.
Easy access; good parking and short approach. Child-friendly and beautiful forest nature.
Area is being developed, will most likely consist of 100+ lines.
There has been occasional activity in the area for many years, but it was not formally established until fall 2020.
Normally March through August, every year, peregrine falcons are hatching in the area. Most of the bouldering is pretty far from the hatching spots, but check in with the local climbing club (Drammen klatreklubb) first.
Parking should be done at the marked area, there is space for many cars. Follow path south to "Øvre Svarttjern" - approx 800 m walk.
