Arcadia is a prominent grey wall located near the Repondina campground, clearly visible from the coastal road between Astros and Leonidio. The climbing here is mostly on crimps along vertical terrain, with occasional crack features, larger flakes, and small overhangs adding variety.
The bolting is very dense, and the overall difficulty is quite low, making it an ideal spot for beginners, courses, and climbing schools. Combined with a short approach and afternoon shade, it's no surprise that this sector sees climbers almost every day during Leonidio's main season.
Climb Greece developed this sector with funding from local municipalities, getting to work during the lockdown year of 2020. A significant amount of effort went into cleaning both the belay area and the wall itself from loose and potentially dangerous blocks.
While there’s still an interesting portion of the wall left to be explored and developed, the existing routes already offer enough variety to make the whole family happy.
The area is access sensitive!

In the early days of this sector, climbers were allowed to enter and park in the field directly below the wall with the landowner’s approval. However, in recent years, there have been reports of the owner expressing disapproval and asking for payment from those using his property. Please respect private land and avoid entering the field unless explicit permission has been granted.
