This Crag is perfect for long weekends staying on the calm camping side in "Allersdorf".

Predominated climbing style here is on vertical routes with perfect pockets in mid and lower grades. Though there is one hard endurance test piece and a few harder routes, as well. For "Föhrenstein" you might need some trad gear while the other sectors are protected very well.

Best season is summer and autumn. At spring it's worth a visit after a couple of dry days.

Forget about visiting "Wasserstein" in spring. It's not named that for nothing and resembles a waterfall. Better go there in autumn. "Föhrenstein" dries faster but takes a few days as well because it's quite shady and not that exposed. Best chances might have at "Lindensteine" due to it's exposed location.

Except "Föhrensteinturm" all sectors are suitable for kids very well.

Best place to stay is the camping in "Allersdorf". Further apartments you find in any village.
Shopping and all you need you can get in "Gößweinstein". Excellent Restaurant is in "Behringersmühle".
