Pleasant route for practising lead climbing.

Three styles in one pitch. Layback using a crack with hang out over first pitch, rib scramble, and then a crimpy piece of technique work up last headwall. One of my favourites in HK.

Great stemming training. If shorter, move deeper into the crack

Enjoyable crack to warm up. Slightly weird body position at beginning for taller types moves the rating up imho

I give 6b for the crux at the beginning. If you don’t have beta (and you’re not a 6c/7a climber) you’ll take time to work it out

outward leaning face halfway up probably makes this 6a+ (depends on how you climb it)

quite easy to smear up if tall

two and a half years after looking at this, came back and, to my surprise, got up first time. Need to switch to lead climbing it next time

Lovely piece of slab climbing. Nice Arete work. can practise footwork precision on this one

New area at Beacon Hill Several now-bolted routes. 5 - to 6c I guess. Did 5, 5+, 6a+.

Entertaining as a warm up or end of day release. heck of a crowd below

Intro to HK climbing. Spectacular cliffside scenery. One of several routes.

Pleasant excursion, with only a couple of moderately technical passages. Fabulous view of Mont Blanc for the whole climb. Not long.
