Birthday send in wedding hangover 🤌 RIP tree. The tree being missing did not change tall man beta for the start. (I did the start 2 years ago already.) The upper part was the crux for me.

Nice progression from getting zero moves to finally sending it in 1 session!

1st try to the slopers. Some 7 tries onto the top of the tufa.

Felt like 7A for me – OTOH the other 7A on the right was way harder (didn't send it).

Tricky! But found the tall boi right hand push beta.

The cave crawl in the middle proved too tough for me (I'm choosing to blame my height & weight) so I did the tall boy beta on the above hold + max wingspan move. Makes the swing difficult!

The topout was definitely not sneaker-level easy for me, tricky stuff!

Tall person beta: sit start both hands on left arete. All surrounding rocks obviously eliminated although lots of rubber and chalk on them 🙄

My first 7A outside! About 20 tries. With a crazy 2 minute mantel disaster in the end 😅👌🍾

Felt easier for tall people, but also nice technical moves!

Got too pumped on the first try, fell 1m before the anchor 😅 sent it on 2nd try.

Guidebook said 6a+ and it definitely didn't feel any harder.

After second day of trying – tall person beta saved me a dozen moves. (Repeat 722 days later: from good foot & toehook to top jugs.)
