Bernia ridge, 4+
(~1100 m. Throughout keep a close watch for the red dots. The description is based on Rockfax) Easy scramble from the starting col by the east peak, then scramble down left past a tricky and exposed section over a hole in the ridge to a steeper and very exposed section. Then a down-climb (can be abseiled), more scrambling, and another abseil (about 20 m). Scramble up a steep diagonal line, followed by a long section of scrambling till you get a view of three vertical fins. Walk towards the right most fin and find a line of bolts up it, climb up (4+) and traverse left on the knife-edge to an anchor. Then a steep scramble up on a section full of loose rock (2+), a steep descent, and another long section of scrambling till the summit of Bernia. Easy scramble (a few tricky moves) down. Follow the red dots to go over the ridge and back down on the left side to a scree-shoot. Descend and follow a path which will become more clear later on and leads back to the parking.
