Prow wow
COMMENTS

Hey, should we perhaps split prow wow to several smaller areas or at least branch it. That way we would get a new map marker so that more people can enjoy this lovely rock!:D
Erkki Hinkola9 years ago
Yes we should. All stones that are not next to each other should have own map marker. Should there be a team to take care of Rian or is there active team in the area? Though it seems that once a crag has been adopted to team outsiders can not even add new routes which is bad.

Im abit confused about the mechanics of the site still. If someone could help with this otherwise I'll just look into it as soon as I have time.

I think the whole Rian topo should be done all over again. It's confusing and messy at the moment.

First make enough sectors with names and mark every stone with name and map marker and put them into the sectors. Then put problem's in the topos and draw the lines in the pictures. It's a bit hard thing to do because probably nobody knows every stone. So it's require some cooperation and somebody who knows most of the stones do the first steps.

Teams can do all the organizing. And as Erkki said, teams can choose whether to lock the topo from outsiders or keep it open. It would be better to keep the open editing all the time. If you set up a team for Rian area and email to support@27crags.com, I'll explain how you can edit all this.

Ok. I adopted Rian to Team Oulu to do some edits, but still can not move some map markers. I´ll try again tomorrow...

Ok, can not move "Prow wow". I contacted support for help. I also messed with "Gansters paradise" so now it´s work in process... Anyway, Rian is now free for others to try editing.

Gansta is much better now! Nice work Erkki.

Still work to do. I´m not sure where stones with "one more time", "snap" or "summertime blues" are; these just from sectors I have visited. The way to do editing is that a member of a team which has Rian listed on local crags, clics "edit" on that list and then selects "keep maintainership..." on. Then you have full editing rights. Please deselect maintainership after editing, otherwise outsiders can not add routes.

Snap, valium, crack and clyde are close to the LSD marker. I'll take a photo today and move them. snap I already moved

Great fun. Went all the way to good sloper for left hand, from start, which makes it easier. Jugs to the right near the top and well within reach also facilitates.
