That the pad area below the boulder was flooded with river water during a visit in 2017-09, so these problems are perhaps seasonal.

It seems more sand has been added to the pit below the boulder to prevent the worst flooding. Super!

I think that the canonical start is sitting down below and to the right of the line currently in the image. The new printed topo shows a variant starting on the lump around the corner to the left.

Finally, after a year of being close but feeling like I'm starting from scratch with every visit! Great line with frustrating last move. I did the (original?) SDS version and not the version in the new topo showing start on the lump around the corner at the far left.
