The Mote in God's Eye

CLASSIC compression bouldering at its finest, with a very tricky crux. Almost all slopers, it differs from Wolverineland's harder circuit...subtle, technical, yet still powerful, a true boulder problem! 3 days of concentrated effort, and for the grade, we shall see, but it seems harder then others...time will tell.

3rd ascent. Amazing FA by Dave. A bookmark compression line involving slopers and a crux toe hook leading into a hairy finish in which you have to rock over onto a smear with your left foot and mantel out your right hand to the jug Hueco. The "Big Wall" Project is next! Props to Dave for having such amazing visions and taking lines down!

one of the best boulders...ever! Felt impossible at first and then everything came together. Very psyched. Last day in Wolverine land....end of an ERA! Should be noted that Dave, Daniel and Chris climbed this boulder in the heat of the summer! thus, significantly harder...
